It\u2019s totally understandable. The term is still pretty new and somewhat vague, kinda like NBC\u2019s fall television lineup. But fortunately the answer is an easy one.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s start with the \u201cmarketing\u201d part. You know what that means. The dictionary defines it as \u201cThe activities that are involved in making people aware of a company’s products.\u201d<\/p>\n
So we have \u201cmarketing,\u201d and then we add \u201ccontent\u201d to it, which in this case simply refers to articles, blog posts, videos, infographics\u2026 the stuff that people are interested in online. And there you have it. Content marketing is simply the practice of attracting prospective customers through interesting content. And it works.<\/p>\n
