In fact it&#8217;s been such a hit that\u00a0Facebook-owned Instagram quickly pounced on the premise and\u00a0unveiled its\u00a0own video app which <a href=\"http:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2013\/06\/20\/instagram-video-vs-vine-whats-the-difference\/\" target=\"_blank\">offers a number of enhanced editing features<\/a>. Of course\u00a0Vine has returned\u00a0with a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsfactor.com\/news\/Vine-Ups-Ante-in-Instagram-Rivalry\/story.xhtml?story_id=0110010EEJ6C\" target=\"_blank\">counterpunch<\/a>, but still,\u00a0there&#8217;s something about those six brief seconds&#8230;\u00a0the looping playback&#8230;\u00a0and\u00a0the creative constraints of Vine\u00a0that piqu\u00e9s our curiosity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-2342 aligncenter\" title=\"vine logo\" src=\"http:\/\/mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/vine-logo.jpg\" alt=\"vine logo\" width=\"366\" height=\"138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/vine-logo.jpg 761w, https:\/\/www.mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/vine-logo-300x113.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 366px) 100vw, 366px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nSo what works on Vine? And can you leverage this quick-hitting video service to boost your business? The answer to the latter question is yes. But the former? Well, as you&#8217;ll see from this\u00a0list of the\u00a0five most shared Vines (through May 9th, as compiled by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unrulymedia.com\/article\/08-05-2013\/unruly-unveils-top-vine-metrics-and-100-most-tweeted-vines-celebrate-app%E2%80%99s-100-da\" target=\"_blank\">Unruly<\/a>), youth\u00a0pop culture rules. Three of the five clips feature the British boy band One Direction, another is by\u00a0rapper Tyler the Creator, and the lone non-music related Vine\u00a0is from a user named Doug who\u00a0simply\u00a0aimed his phone at a\u00a0TV newscast when it was showing\u00a0an infamous scene\u00a0from the Boston marathon bombing.
