You get personalized, detailed breakdowns of the way your content resonates with audiences, so you can refine your content strategy to build more of what works, and turn more content consumers into customers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How It Works<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Media Shower, we\u2019re constantly improving. And we\u2019ve taken a big step forward with our <\/span><b>improved content reporting dashboard<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which was designed from the ground up to get our clients more website traffic, leads, and customers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This dashboard pulls data directly from Ahrefs, which we found through extensive testing to be the single best source of SEO data out there \u2013 better than Semrush, better than BrightEdge, better than Moz. No additional charge!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18361 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/3-e1685699612728.png\" alt=\"reporting dashboard\" width=\"600\" height=\"264\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you open your new reporting dashboard, you\u2019ll see three separate (orange) numbers at the top.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the far left, above the green line, will be \u201cTotal Pages,\u201d the number of posts Media Shower has created for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the middle, over the blue line, you\u2019ll see the number of \u201cPublished Pages,\u201d the total number of posts we\u2019ve created that have been posted to your site.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, on the right above the orange line, you\u2019ll see what\u2019s hopefully the largest of the three numbers: \u201cKeyword Rankings.\u201d This number indicates how well your website is ranking across all of your keywords. <\/span><b>It shows the aggregate \u2013 over all your published pages \u2013 of your keyword rankings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Quick explainer: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you have a web page show up in a search engine, there may be multiple keywords ranking on a particular page. For example, as in our graphic below, a blog post about \u201ccryptocurrency mining rigs\u201d \u2014 customized PCs built to perform crypto mining \u2013 might show up in Google for the keywords \u201cmining rigs,\u201d \u201ccrypto mining rigs,\u201d \u201cbest mining rigs,\u201d and many others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Media Shower, we take these keyword rankings seriously, because this is the power of the content we create. The more keywords on which your posts are ranking, the more traffic you\u2019re getting to that page, because more people are finding it in response to search queries.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><i><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember: a page created by Media Shower can have multiple keywords ranking at any time. The bigger this number, the more people who can find your site through online searches.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below all three of these numbers across the top, you\u2019ll see a chart with \u201cKeyword Rankings Over Time.\u201d This chart shows <\/span><b>the number of keywords for which all your pages ranked over the last several months<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Ideally, the line on this chart will be tracking upward.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-18362 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/4.png\" alt=\"Keyword Rankings Over Time\" width=\"600\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/4.png 862w, https:\/\/www.mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/4-300x222.png 300w, https:\/\/www.mediashower.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/4-768x569.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the graph, you\u2019ll see a section with four columns:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPage Title\u201d gives you the titles of the individual pages or posts we\u2019ve created for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFirst Viewed\u201d gives you the date on which we first started tracking each page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cKeywords\u201d shows the total number of keywords ranking on each of those pages or posts.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cKeyword Progress\u201d is a graph giving you a quick visual summary of how each of these posts have performed over time.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Why you need this data: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using this information, you can get a solid reading of your content\u2019s overall search engine traction, as well as where you can optimize. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a content report that\u2019s not available in any other tool<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If the line is going up, great! If it\u2019s going down, time to optimize or improve!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s this ability to see your <\/span><b>content optimization opportunities <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that makes this report so powerful. Looking at a big list of SEO rankings doesn\u2019t cut it: you need a quick visual on which pages are doing best, and when they\u2019re starting to decline. Perhaps those pages are out of date or they\u2019re no longer doing a good job of answering particular search queries. Now you can pinpoint the problem areas, quickly and effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whatever the problem, we can help you solve it by identifying optimization opportunities. We can refresh underperforming posts with new data, examine trends and sources, and republish. Once the pages have been optimized, you can come back to your dashboard in the next few weeks to see the effects on your rankings. Again, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">no other reporting tool shows you content optimization results in such an easy way.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Publish, test, optimize. But by May 7, you see that the numbers are declining, which is a signal it may be time to refresh the page to make it more up to date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Why you need this data:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Content is competitive.
