But that&#8217;s changed with the company&#8217;s sponsorship of <em>Conan<\/em> on TBS.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s one thing to run a 30-second spot during the breaks, but Conan O&#8217;Brien and his talented\u00a0comedy team have turned their sandwich plugs into outright skits, with more product mentions than there are meatballs in those little metal\u00a0containers behind the container.<\/p>\n<p>Take this clip, for example:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zynfQBdu0j0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s three minutes of shilling for Subway&#8217;s Footlong Sub\u00a0of the Day promotion, and yet there&#8217;s probably not one <em>Conan<\/em> fan who didn&#8217;t enjoy the shenanigans.<\/p>\n<p>But the Subway servitude didn&#8217;t stop there.
